Satya®

Satya® – Procaine Hydrochloride, in its different concentrations and presentations, are injectable (small-volume parenteral) anesthetic solutions, indicated for producing local anesthesia. These products must be used by professional personnel trained for this purpose.

Benefits:

Procaine Hydrochloride is an ester-type local anesthetic, derived from para-aminobenzoic acid, that produces a reversible loss of sensation by reducing nerve impulses near the site of application.

Procaine exerts its action by inhibiting the influx of sodium through voltage-gated sodium channels in the neuronal membranes of peripheral nerves. When sodium flow is interrupted, the action potential cannot be generated, and therefore the conduction of signals is inhibited, producing an anesthetic effect at the site of application.
